The Legal & IP Department, which drives governance strengthening for our group, is recruiting for its 'Planning Legal Team', which serves as its command center. This team is an elite organization composed of experienced lawyers, legal professionals, and former consulting firm members. We are looking for core members who will not merely provide support, but will connect diverse groups of specialists in legal, intellectual property, and compliance, and collaboratively draw up and execute the department's overall strategy.
Job Description
As a member of the Planning Legal Team, you will proactively take charge of resolving complex issues faced by the Legal & IP Department and promoting important projects. We expect you to leverage your expertise to lead the following tasks:
- Project Execution and Promotion:
- As a person in charge of a specific workstream in important departmental projects (e.g., concretization of group RM system, function transfer, DX promotion), you will be responsible for issue analysis, policy formulation, and execution.
- Analysis and Proposal:
- Analyze various data within the department, identify inefficiencies and potential risks in business processes, and plan and propose concrete improvement measures.
- Conduct research, data analysis, and document creation for reports to management.
- Cross-functional Collaboration and Coordination:
- Facilitate discussions among specialized teams within the department (e.g., business legal, intellectual property, compliance) and promote consensus building.
- Handle practical coordination and collaboration with other departments, such as the company-wide risk management oversight department.

Required
We are looking for individuals who possess one of the following experiences at an equally high level, depending on their strengths:
- For those with a focus on legal/compliance expertise:
- Practical experience in legal/compliance departments of operating companies (目安: 5 years or more)
- Deep knowledge of contract law, plus experience actively involved in improving business processes and system development
- For those with a focus on consulting/planning expertise:
- Practical experience in consulting firms or corporate planning/business planning departments of operating companies (目安: 5 years or more)
- Experience in structuring complex issues, data analysis, project management, plus strong interest and willingness to learn in legal/risk management
Skills commonly required for both types:
- High logical thinking ability to grasp the essence of issues
- Excellent documentation skills to clearly convey analysis and ideas (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Scope of Change in Duties to be Performed
Duties designated by the company
Criteria for Renewing a Fixed-Term Labor Contract (Including Maximum Total Contract Period or Number of Renewals)
- Renewal may be carried out after the company notifies the employee in advance and obtains the employee's consent, but automatic renewal will not occur.
- Furthermore, the presence or absence of renewal will be judged considering the following circumstances:
- (1) Company's business conditions
- (2) Presence or absence of changes in job content or contract terms
- (3) Work performance, attitude, or attendance during the contract period
- (4) Work execution ability or work efficiency
- (5) Progress of work
- (6) Presence or absence of changes in workload, or workload at the end of the contract period
- (7) Compliance with company regulations, including work rules
- (8) Presence or absence of other circumstances equivalent to the above items
- The period of the employment contract shall, in principle, not exceed one year, and even if renewed, the total employment period from the initial contract signing shall not exceed four years.
