EA DICE is seeking a Level Design Supervisor to contribute to the design of engaging, memorable multiplayer maps for the Battlefield franchise. This role involves collaborating with global co-development partners, refining design vision, participating in playtests, and supporting innovation in PvP map design. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of level design experience in the shooter/action genre and proficiency with level editing tools.
Must have:
  • Contribute to the multiplayer map experience from blockout to final polish, ensuring quality and alignment with project direction.
  • Collaborate with co-development teams across studios, sharing design feedback and supporting their work through clear documentation and communication.
  • Partner with art, narrative, gameplay, and technical teams to ensure levels feel cohesive and player-first.
  • Help refine the design vision—balancing moment-to-moment action, flow, and pacing.
  • Actively participate in playtests, providing feedback and iterating based on player data, observations, and competitive analysis.
  • Support innovation in PvP map design by exploring new ideas and solutions.
  • 3–5 years of level design experience, ideally with at least one shipped title in the shooter/action genre.
  • Proficiency with blockout tools, iteration workflows, and proprietary or industry-standard level editors.
  • Solid understanding of multiplayer map design principles (flow, readability, pacing, balance).
  • Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative and player-first mindset.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a highly collaborative team.

Are you passionate about multiplayer shooters and excited to help shape iconic Battlefield moments? EA DICE is looking for a Level Designer to contribute to the design of engaging, memorable multiplayer maps in collaboration with our global co-development (codev) partners. In this role, you’ll report to the Lead Level Designer or Level Design Director and play a key part in building gameplay experiences that millions of players will enjoy.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys collaborating across teams, cultures, and time zones, and growing their skills by working alongside some of the most experienced designers in the industry. You’ll work closely with multiple studios to bring Battlefield’s multiplayer maps to life across a variety of unique environments.

What You’ll Do
