Job Summary

Job Description

Responsible for technical functions supporting engineering activities, including design, test, checkout, modifications, and fabrications. Conducts engineering tests and detailed experimental testing. Performs 1st Level Failure Analysis for production lot disposition and supports low yield analysis activities, NPI, and HVM monitoring data collection. Operates LYA equipment like Parametric Analyzer, polisher, optical microscope, X-Ray, TDR, EOTPR, and advanced FA tools. Maintains records and reports, engaging stakeholders for problem-solving.
Must have:
  • Responsible for technical functions in support of engineering activities
  • Conducts engineering tests and detailed experimental testing
  • Perform 1st Level Failure Analysis for production lot disposition
  • Support low yield analysis activities, NPI and HVM monitoring data collection
  • Learn and operate primary LYA equipment (Parametric Analyzer, polisher, optical microscope, X-Ray, Failure isolation TDR, EOTPR)
  • Maintain necessary records and FA/LYA reports
  • Update report, engage with stakeholder for problem solving
  • Possess at least college degree (diploma holder) in technical background (material/ mechanical/ electrical/ electronic engineer, or relevant fields)
  • At least 1 year of experience in relevant field
  • Good English writing, communication skill
  • Willingness to work onsite in a 12-hour rotational shift pattern, 4 days per week
Good to have:
  • Good computer MS Office application skill
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in a diverse team environment

Job Description:

  • Responsible for technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modifications, fabrications, of design circuitry, electromechanical systems, or specialized test equipment.
  • Conducts engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect data or assist in research work.
  • May perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
  • Assignments are semi routine in nature. Work performed within generally defined parameters.
  • Some degree of judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems. Normally receives general instructions on most work.
  • Responsible for performing 1st Level Failure Analysis for production lot disposition (SBL, defect characterization, etc).
  • Primary support low yield analysis activities, NPI and HVM monitoring data collection but not limited to Root Cause Analysis investigation.
  • Learn and operate primary LYA equipment such as Parametric Analyzer, polisher, optical microscope, X-Ray, Failure isolation TDR, EOTPR, etc. to perform Analyze failure units to identify the defect and fault Isolation, not limited to advanced FA tools such as SEM/FIB/ 3D-Xray, FTIR, etc.
  • Maintain necessary records and FA/LYA reports.
  • Update report, engage with stakeholder for problem solving as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least colleges degree (diploma holder) in technical background (material/ mechanical/ electrical/ electronic engineer, or relevant fields).
  • At least 1 year of experience in relevant field.
  • Good English writing, communication skill.
  • Willingness to work onsite in a 12-hour rotational shift pattern, 4 days per week, in line with business requirements; additional allowances will be provided.
  • Preferred qualifications:
  • Good computer MS Office application skill.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills will be considered an added advantage.
  • Ability to work well in a diverse team environment.
