Job Description

The role involves performing highly diversified duties to install and maintain various production machines and facility equipment, including troubleshooting and repairs for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Responsibilities include reading equipment manuals, performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and coordinating duties to control downtime, frequently working with 3-phase electrical systems.
Must have:
  • Install and maintain production machines and facility equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
  • Work with 3-phase electrical systems
  • Coordinate duties to control downtime
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Strong electrical/industrial skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Working knowledge of computers and MS Office programs
  • Strong leadership, analytical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations
  • Ability to work under stress
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to process paperwork effectively
  • Ability to go up and down stairs
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to do unaccompanied travel
  • Ability to tolerate shop environment and exposures
  • Apply appropriate safety equipment
  • Ability to work overtime
Good to have:
  • Welder repair experience
  • HVAC experience

Functional Job Duties:

    • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain various types of production machines and facility equipment.
    • Perform troubleshooting and repairs that require experience including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic.
    • Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform maintenance and service.
    • Performs routine inspection on equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
    • Duties will require frequent activity with 480/277/208 3 phase
    • Coordinate and perform duties in a manner that controls downtime 

Qualifications:

    • High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
    • At least 3 years of prior manufacturing maintenance experience; strong electrical/industrial skills
    • Welder repair experience a plus
    • HVAC experience a plus
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills
    • Working knowledge of computer and MS Office programs. 

Mental Requirements:

    • Must possess strong leadership, analytical thinking, effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with persons inside and outside of the company. Must have the ability to perform mathematical calculations related to job requirements.  Must be able to work under stress.  Must be able to handle multiple priorities.   Must be able to process paperwork effectively.  

Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to go up and down stairs. Must be able to communicate effectively.  Must be able to do unaccompanied travel.  Must be able to tolerate shop environment and exposures associated with welding and industrial equipment manufacturing, and apply appropriate safety equipment when required. Must be able to work overtime as required.  Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in company duties.
