Our blockchain team is dedicated to the conception, design and implementation of a best-in-class software platform providing our users with the ability to work seamlessly within this new and highly technical space. We are currently seeking new colleagues across a variety of roles who are passionate about bringing this world-changing technology into mainstream use via the development of high-quality tools and services aimed at the wider commercial market.

Previous blockchain experience, while desirable, is not required and so this is an excellent opportunity for anybody who has an interest in growing their skills and experience in this novel and fast-moving field.


Your mission

The Management Accountant will perform in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and specifically in both UK GAAP and IFRS. To be successful in this role, the candidate must be able to handle highly sensitive and confidential matters relating to daily activities and will supervise, monitor and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities.

What you'll do

  • Responsible for daily accounting operations including banks, payables and receivables
  • Prepare weekly cashflow forecasts
  • Responsible for the month-end close and ensuring it is completed on time
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns to the local tax authority
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations in multi-currency ledgers
  • Lead monthly Balance Sheet reviews and follow up on actionable points
  • Accounts receivable processing: raising sales invoices and assist with credit control
  • Support local audits, both internal and external
  • Seek efficiencies and best practice in processes
  • Provide support, where required, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of departmental and business goals and requirements

What you'll bring

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Experience with working to tight deadlines
  • The Group Accounting System is MS D365, experience with this system is preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong leadership skills as well as being proactive
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or professional accounting designation ie ACCA, CIMA
