Software Engineer III (React and Node)

Sabre is seeking a talented React Developer to support the SBE/SVA Team in important projects related to SynXis Booking Engine and SynXis Voice agent, including rebuilding SBE using a new modular architecture with GraphQL middle layer.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develops, codes, tests and debugs new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing product

• Designs, plans, develops and improves applications using routine and advanced technology

• Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques

• Encourage high coding standards, using best practices and high quality

• Regularly interacts with subordinate supervisors, architects, product managers, HR, on matters concerning projects, or team performance. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship

• Provides technical mentorship and cultural/competency-based guidance to teams

• Provides larger business/product context. Mentors on specific tech stacks/technologies

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of related React UI Development experience

• Minimum 3 years of related Web Development experience using: modern JavaScript (ES6, TypeScript, React, Redux or similar frameworks), HTML, CSS, and JSON Rest Services.

• Desired experience in GraphQL, Fastify, NodeJS or other similar middle layer technologies.

• Desired experience with cloud technology and deployment (AWS, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes).

• Degree in Technology Related field or equivalent certifications/experience

• Experience in fast paced Software Development in Agile environment

• Experience and expertise in advanced Frontend UI programming and solutioning

• Knowledge of programming in Windows and Linux environment

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

• Proficient English, both written and verbal

• Self-disciplined and commitment oriented
