What You`ll Do

    • Drive innovation and design solutions for consumer-facing iOS mobile applications
    • Provide technical leadership in the end-to-end design, development, and testing of solutions
    • Work with technical leads, managers, and Product stakeholders to define and manage the technical roadmap
    • Prepare and present potential technical solutions and advise the business on approach and tradeoffs
    • Work with developers, business analysts, and subject matter experts to understand the complex technological system in order to produce integrated end-to-end solution options
    • Provide high-level effort estimates in the absence of detailed requirements
    • Communicate solution approaches to architects, project teams, and other stakeholders
    • Keep up to date on cutting-edge technologies and effectively incorporate that knowledge into our platform roadmap, design, and implementation

What You Know

    • A minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in Native iOS development.
    • Strong proficiency in Objective-C, Swift, Cocoa Touch and Combine framework.
    • Extensive experience in developing native iOS applications with a focus on pixel-perfect UI/UX.
    • Ability to create reusable design components and convert designs into storyboard/xib (UIKit) and SwiftUI.
    • Participate in Agile/Scrum development methodology, attend stand-ups, and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
    • Proficient in iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Location etc.
    • Expertise in offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
    • Experience with RESTful APIs for connecting iOS applications to back-end services.
    • Knowledge of web technologies and adherence to UI/UX standards (Swift UI, Apple HIG).
    • Experience with various design patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER, Singleton, Observer, etc.).
    • Design, development, and testing of architecture.
    • Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
    • Experience with third-party libraries, APIs, and integration.
    • Experience with network and multithreading.
    • Experience with Cocoapods and integrating SPM.
    • Proficiency in performance and memory tuning using tools such as Instruments.
    • Experience with push notifications and In-App Purchases/Subscriptions.
    • Proficient in code versioning tools such as Git.
    • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
    • Strong foundation in Data Structures and Models.
    • Emphasis on code quality with a knack for benchmarking and optimization.
    • Experience or familiarity with Unit Tests.
    • Previous work on or published iOS applications.
    • Experience with source control management systems (Git, SVN, Mercurial, etc.).
    • Experience with bug tracking systems.
    • Works well in teams and is good at solving problems together. Can think creatively to find solutions when faced with challenges.
