This Network Engineer position involves designing and optimizing low latency network infrastructures. The responsibilities include designing and automating network infrastructures using zero-touch provisioning (ZTP) and CI/CD processes. The role also involves conducting advanced research to reduce network latency and managing cloud services. The engineer will develop scripting skills in Python, Bash, and Go to automate network tasks.

Good To Have:

CCIE or equivalent experience.

Must Have:

Strong understanding of computer networks and routing principles.
Experience with IP routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to specialize in designing and optimizing low latency network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will lead efforts in automating network processes, reducing latency, and ensuring high-performance network operations.

What You’ll be doing

Network Architecture and Automation: Design and automate complex network infrastructures using zero-touch provisioning (ZTP) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
Latency Optimization: Conduct advanced research and experimentation to identify and implement strategies for reducing network latency and optimizing network performance
Cloud Services Management: Manage and optimize cloud services from providers like AWS, GCP or AliCloud to ensure low latency and high availability
Scripting and Automation: Develop advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, Go, and other languages to automate complex network tasks and workflows

What we look for in you:

Advanced Network Knowledge: Strong understanding of computer networks, with a vendor-agnostic approach to routing and switching principles
Proficiency in Routing Protocols: Experience with IP routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
Cloud Experience: Significant experience managing cloud services
Scripting Skills: Advanced skills in scripting languages for automation purposes
Experience with Network Automation Tools: Familiarity with tools like Ansible or similar automation platforms

Nice-to-Have:

CCIE or equivalent experience
Experience with low-latency microwave networks and/or optical transmission systems
