Job Description

The Operation Excellence Specialist will train and lead teams in lean methodologies, coordinate Kaizen/Lean workshops, and apply lean-manufacturing concepts to drive continuous improvement. This role involves identifying project opportunities, improving key metrics like Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (SQDIP), conducting Value Stream Analysis, and implementing Lean Management Systems. The specialist will also create Hoshin Kanri plans, drive Lean Communication, and promote a safety-first mindset.
Must have:
  • Train members in lean tools/techniques
  • Lead and Coordinate Kaizen/Lean workshops
  • Apply lean-manufacturing concepts
  • Identify project opportunities within the site
  • Drive Improvements in SQDIP
  • Conduct Value Stream Analysis
  • Implement Lean Management System (Visual Controls, Layered Process Audits, 5s, Kaizen Suggestion System)
  • Create Hoshin Kanri plans
  • Create and drive Lean Communication plan
  • Exemplify a safety-first mindset through BBS training
  • Minimum 8 to 12 years’ working experience
  • Six Sigma Black/Green Belt or equivalent Lean certification
  • Hands-on experience with 5S, SMED, TPM, VSM, Single piece flow, line balancing, SFM, Kaizen, Poka-yoke activities
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • Fluent in Business English
  • Good Microsoft skills
  • Ability to lead multi-disciplined team

We’re hiring an Electrical/Electronics Engineer to design and develop our automotive products in the areas of Active Safety and User-Experience. This position is located in TCI.

YOUR ROLE

Job Responsibilities:

  • Train the members in the use of lean tools/techniques and help in training others to train
  • Lead and Coordinate Kaizen/Lean workshops
  • Apply lean-manufacturing concepts as per company Lean System and promote continuous improvement culture
  • Identify project opportunities within the site.
  • Drive Improvements in key metrics such as Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity (SQDIP) through Daily Performance Management
  • Conduct Value Stream Analysis within Manufacturing process with the goal of improving flow, identifying waste, and developing a strategic plan for improvements
  • Implementation of Lean Management System, including Visual Controls(Andon), Layered Process Audits(Kamishibai), 5s and Kaizen Suggestion System
  • Create Hoshin Kanri plans and standardize site KPIs with the leadership team
  • Create and drive Lean Communication plan for the site
  • Exemplifying a safety-first mindset through training on Behaviour Based Safety(BBS) and continual positive reinforcement through Good Catch Report and Tracker (Near Miss)
  • Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Lean activities

YOUR BACKGROUND

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 to 12 years’ working experience
  • Six Sigma Black/Green Belt or any equivalent Lean certification
  • Hands-on experience with 5S, SMED, TPM, VSM, Single piece flow, line balancing, SFM, Kaizen, Poka-yoke activities
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with technical background
  • Fluent in Business English
  • Good Microsoft skills
  • Ability to lead multi-disciplined team
