Aptiv is seeking an F3 New Business Technician in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, MX. This role involves coordinating and ensuring Aptiv business quotes are processed per customer requests, following up on customer-specific requirements, and supporting the program manager with project implementation dates and cost targets. The technician will execute new project estimates, validate packaging proposals, coordinate meetings with product engineers for process feasibility, and ensure optimal equipment/workforce utilization.
Must have:
  • Coordinate and ensure Aptiv business quotes are processed per customer request
  • Follow up and assure customer specific requirements
  • Support program manager with project implementation date and costs
  • Execute new project estimates within established lead time
  • Support and validate packaging proposals and material flow
  • Coordinate meetings with product engineers for new process feasibility
  • Validate and balance work labor for equipment/workforce utilization
  • Plan and execute follow up meetings to identify project risks
  • Plan and execute evaluation meetings of product to identify possible product risks with customer DFM
  • Coordinate and participate in MSD development
  • Track and develop projects alongside manufacturing engineers
  • Execute and validate procedures for project development
  • Analyze and validate general project requirements (Layout, material flow, packaging, operator labor, labor balance)
  • Coordinate all project release activities with operations team
  • Create and administer shared folders for documentation
  • Keep project status information updated in auditory documents
  • Support and coordination of PPAP run
  • High level of English proficiency (90% or higher)
  • Bachelor's degree in electronic / computer science / industrial / mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering
  • CAD software knowledge (30% or higher)
  • Experience engineering changes and manufacturing product release
  • Experience with manufacturing documentation development (PFMEA, GANTT, MSD)
  • Develop and maintain project timelines for internal and customer usage
  • Work with multiple departments to release manufacturing cells
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, engineering
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks
  • Ability to make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment

Job Details

We are looking for an F3 New Business Technician. The New business program technician has direct responsibility to coordinate and ensure Aptiv business quote are process per customer request, follow up and assure customer specific requirements. The vacancy is to be positioned in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, MX, and will report to the manufacturing engineering supervisor.

Your Role

  • Support to program manager with information related to establish project implementation date and costs to be within business case target.
  • Execute with the established lead time to fill out new project estimates.
  • Support and validation of packaging proposals and material flow as well as parts presentation in a manufacturing cell.
  • Coordination of meetings and participation with product engineer to identify new process feasibility along with process variation and required capacities for its implementation.
  • Validate and balance work labor to ensure the best equipment / workforce utilization. Looking forward to complying with management requirements such as OI, Payback etc.
  • Plan and execute follow up meetings to identify risks of project related to accomplish implementation timing along with program managers and manufacturing engineers.
  • Plan and execute evaluation meetings of product to identify possible product risks with customer DFM, identify gaps and track solutions within manner and time.
  • Coordination and participation into the MSD development taking in account requirements for project delivery over to operations.
  • Track and develop of project alongside the manufacturing engineers to cover every step of operating system to detect and reflect possible risks to comply with implementation date (GANTT, graphs)
  • Execute and validation of procedures to develop project alongside with evaluation and analysis of process flow.
  • Analysis and validation of general requirements of projects like Layout, material flow, packaging, operator labor, labor balance etc.
  • Coordination of all project release activities with operations team such as layout review, movements and labor operations, line balance, PFMEA review, project stress runs, machine qualification1 and machine qualification 2.
  • Creation and administration of shared folders to document deliverables and keep information in regards of the project updated.
  • Keep updated information of project status in auditory documents as well as initial handoff documentation over to operations team.
  • Support and coordination of PPAP run alongside operations and manufacturing engineering.

Your Background:

  • High level of English proficiency is a must (90% or higher).
  • Bachelor's degree in electronic / computer science / industrial / mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering.
