Control M Administrator

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Control M Administrator to manage and optimize IBM z/OS and mainframe middleware environments. The role involves configuring Control-M for batch job scheduling, performing advanced diagnostics, and providing L3 support. Responsibilities include maintaining SOPs, ensuring ITSM compliance, and collaborating with global teams. Candidates should have 6-12 years of experience in mainframe infrastructure operations and strong communication skills, with a preference for Japanese language proficiency.

Must Have

• Administer and maintain IBM z/OS environments
• Configure and optimize Control-M for batch job scheduling
• Manage middleware components like CICS, MQ, DB2, IMS
• Perform advanced diagnostics and root cause analysis
• Provide L3 support for mainframe infrastructure operations
• Maintain SOPs and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with ITSM KPIs and SLRs
• 6 to 12 years of experience as a Lead and manage mainframe infrastructure operations (Z Series, Control-M)

Good to Have

• Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N2/N3 preferred)
• Experience with Control-M integrations with cloud or hybrid systems

Your Role

• Handle escalations and coordinate with global teams
• Maintain SOPs and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with ITSM KPIs and SLRs
• Japanese (JLPT N2/N3 preferred)

Your Profile

• 6 to 12years of experience as a Lead and manage mainframe infrastructure operations (Z Series, Control-M)
• Provide L3 support: advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and escalation handling
• Administer and optimize mainframe middleware environments
• Maintain and update SOPs and service delivery documentation
• Ensure compliance with ITSM best practices, KPIs, and SLRs.
• Participate in planning, analysis, and service improvement initiatives
• Support change, configuration, release, and asset management processes
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer programs
• Support security management, monitoring, incident response, and regulatory compliance
• Communicate effectively with local and global teams, including Japanese stakeholders
