Job Description

This position is on the Operations team within the Services organization, the Professional Services (IT consulting) arm of Salesforce.com. The Operations Analyst handles all Professional Services Operations within Salesforce.com’s Strategic Services Consulting. The role requires understanding business success drivers, conducting analysis, and driving process, compliance, and policy for delivery consultants and leadership.   • Strong communications skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization up to VP
  • Work closely with the business process team to understand the process and provide improvement ideas
  • Ability to clearly understand and guide on processes and procedures
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to detect patterns and analyze disparate data
  • Knowledge and understanding of Salesforce tools and applications, specifically strong experience in creating and analyzing data from Salesforce apps
  • Strong knowledge of and exposure to operational business processes, with a strong preference for knowledge of Services/Professional Services/Consulting operations
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced operational role, with the ability to manage ambiguity, changing priorities and remain focused on delivering excellent results
  • Ability to work across Geo with colleagues to develop and implement governance practices for the business
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, and able to perform repetitive tasks accurately
  • Strong knowledge of spreadsheet, database, and word processing programs, including Google suite application experience
Must Have:
  • Work closely with the regional operations team to provide guidance on policy and process knowledge of the region
  • Become a subject matter expert on Professional Services Enterprise (PSA tool)
  • Understand who the stakeholders are and build relationships with them
  • Provide guidance and support to the Sales teams regarding invoicing process in completing SOWs and other bookings’ related information
  • Ensure project data compliance for smooth monthly billings
  • Identify and organize subject matter experts to support change management requirements gathering
  • Create and deliver succinct, professional written and oral presentations to internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Apply a global mindset to all project planning efforts to ensure initiatives align organizationally
  • 2+ years in related experience

Role Description

This position is on the Operations team within the Services organization which is the Professional Services (IT consulting) arm of Salesforce.com. The Operations Analyst takes care of all Professional Services Operations within salesforce.com’s Strategic Services Consulting. The position requires skill in understanding the fundamental drivers of success in the business, in conducting analysis and driving process, compliance, and policy for delivery consultants and delivery leadership.

Key Accountabilities (Impact)

  • Work Closely with the regional operations team to provide guidance on policy and process knowledge of the region
  • Become a subject matter expert on Professional Services Enterprise (PSA tool)
  • Understand who the stakeholders are and build relationships with them
  • Provide guidance and support to the Sales teams when they have questions regarding invoicing process in completing SOWs and other bookings’ related information
  • Project data compliance to ensure smooth billings every month

Basic Requirements

  • 2+ yrs in related experience
  • Experience with a major CRM system is a plus
  • Prior experience with financial and quantitative concepts.
  • Excellent written business communication and verbal presentation skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills

Working conditions

  • Role requires occasional travel mainly within the country /global. Remote working with a fantastic work-life balance.
