Do you excel at building trusted relationships and helping businesses achieve their goals? We're seeking a People Business Partner to join our People team. This role is crucial for providing expert advice to leaders and employees across our organization, driving organizational change, and fostering a healthy team culture. You'll use your expertise in change management and agility to support our fast-moving, creative environment.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Be the go-to person for our teams, acting as a trusted partner and primary point of contact for a portfolio of leaders in the U.S. and Canada.
- Proactively team up with key stakeholders to tackle business needs and support their goals using agile, human-centered, and data-driven methods.
- Use your expertise in Canadian and U.S. employment law to be a trusted advisor and resolve employee relations issues.
- Create, drive and implement people-related projects and programs that align with your stakeholders' business roadmaps.
- Be a catalyst for change, driving initiatives that enhance our culture and build a healthy team environment.
- Support the talent acquisition team with projects and initiatives, which may include aspects of contractor recruitment.
- Guide and mentor team members, helping us build a vibrant learning culture.
- Coach and guide leaders, building up leadership capabilities in Kabam’s leaders
- Navigate a fast-paced, creative, and technical environment with curiosity, openness, and agility.
To be successful in this role, your background includes:
- Over 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years as a People Business Partner.
- Experience in a project-based, creative culture.
- Demonstrated experience in building trusting relationships with stakeholders and leaders.
- Proven experience in change management.
- The ability to partner strategically with department leaders to help drive business strategy and operational goals.
- Strong, clear, and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong knowledge of Canadian and US employment law.
- A post-secondary degree in HR or a related field.

The typical hiring range listed above is specific to candidates located in Los Angeles. The salary will be determined based on your knowledge, skills and competencies, and you’ll have room to grow after you join!
