Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Power Delivery team, with a focus on emerging 48V applications in both automotive and server markets. This role involves supporting the development and testing of switch-mode power supply systems, contributing to demo board evaluations, building test benches, and conducting product benchmarking. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in power electronics and hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and PCB development tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building experimental bench setups for switch-mode power supply applications, particularly targeting 48V architectures.
- Analyze and summarize experimental test results to support design validation and performance benchmarking.
- Develop and test NXP demo boards; document findings in detailed test reports to support internal and customer-facing activities.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Completed coursework in Electronics, Circuit Analysis, Electromagnetics, and Power Electronics.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge
- Strong understanding of power electronics, including:
- Linear regulators
- DC-DC converters (buck, boost, buck-boost)
- Flyback, PFC, and LLC converters
- Board-level component selection for 48V systems
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets for control ICs, MOSFETs, diodes, etc.
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, source meters, and electronic loads.
- Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, and development tools.
