Context
The "Radio Firmware" team, based in Caen, is responsible for providing the software (firmware) necessary for the operation of NFC and UWB components designed by NXP, which equip a majority of mobile phones and connected objects. For this, efficient and automated test methods must constantly be developed and improved to ensure effective validation of this software, distributed on a very large scale.
In this context, we are looking for an apprentice for a 3-year apprenticeship contract.
Your Missions
The apprentice engineer will be responsible for the following missions:
- Development of applications constituting the test framework for software components created by NXP (NFC, UWB, security)
- Participation in the development of NXP firmwares (UWB, NFC)
Your Profile
University/Engineering school with a specialization/field in Electronics or Computer Science
Desired knowledge:
IT development (Python, C, C++, WebServices) and IT Systems (Linux, bash), Embedded software.
Knowledge in electronics (analog, digital)
Good level of English, ability to evolve in an international context
A strong passion for electronic/software development and the ability to quickly grasp new technical subjects are key points for the success of this work.
