Overview:
The Presentation Specialist is responsible for transforming ideas, data, and content into visually compelling and impactful presentations. This role requires a strong sense of design, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively through visual means. This role will be committed to ensuring that impactful and informative storytelling is central to our internal and external presentation materials, to convey both the value and complexity of our work in a manner tailored to any audience.

Starting base pay for this role is between $77,000 and $97,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. We offer vacation and sick leave benefits (under a flexible time off policy in most states).
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to understand the purpose and key messages that need to be conveyed visually or wrapped within a business story.
  • Translate concepts and ideas into compelling visual designs that effectively communicate information to the intended audience.
  • Structures and organizes complex information logically making it easy to understand.
  • Creates visually appealing materials by applying design principles for consistency, clarity, and aesthetics.
  • Selects appropriate fonts, colors, images, graphics, and animations to enhance the presentation's visual appeal and storytelling.
  • Transforms data and statistics into easy-to-understand charts, graphs, and infographics to support a narrative.
  • Ensures that presentations align with the organization's branding guidelines, maintaining a consistent look and feel.
  • Reviews content for grammar, spelling, and overall accuracy to ensure that presentations are error-free.
  • Creates interactive elements or hyperlinks to facilitate navigation within the presentation, particularly for digital or online formats.
  • Can handle multiple projects, deadlines, presentations at once and self-allocates time accordingly to deliver drafts, revisions, and final presentations on time.
  • Keeps up-to-date with design trends, software tools, and presentation best practices to continually improve skills and deliver high-quality work.
  • Maintains a library of presentations to easily repurpose, reuse, and update historical presentations as needed.
  • Handles highly confidential information appropriately and securely.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in presentation software like Microsoft PowerPoint, and design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Strong design portfolio showcasing previous presentation work.
  • Excellent visual design skills, including typography, layout, and color theory.
  • Comfortable using presentation libraries to expedite execution.
  • Meticulous details such as spelling and grammar with comfort using tools like Grammarly.
  • Comfortable in using or learning Microsoft CoPilotAI to aid and improve presentation creation and impact.
  • Experience with animation and multimedia elements in presentations is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of business and marketing concepts is a plus.
