This person will be responsible for the management of the MBOM (Manufacturing Bill of Materials), as well as monitoring and analyzing the main performance indicators of the Supply Chain area.
Must have:
  • Higher education in Engineering, Administration or related fields
  • Solid experience in materials management (BOM) and performance indicator-based management
  • Good understanding of finance and business impact factors
  • Ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively
  • Analytical profile, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of MPS and MRP related systems and processes
  • Fluency in English
  • Supervise and guide the Configuration and Control team
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on control models
  • Lead Configuration and Control process, ensuring effective communication
  • Coordinate creation and release of manufacturing BOMs (MBOMs)
  • Manage MBOMs based on approved EBOMs
  • Support manufacturing or purchase decisions for MBOM items
  • Actively participate in weekly program meetings
  • Ensure correct registration of part numbers with fiscal parameters
  • Control part parameterization for fiscal consistency
  • Monitor and centralize productivity indicators

  • Previous experience in leadership positions, with a focus on team and project management
  • Post-graduation or MBA in areas related to the function
  • Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) management tools, especially in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) environments

This position is for in-person work, in Contagem, MG.

Who will you work with?

The Product Structure and Performance Manager acts as a strategic leader, responsible for leading the Configuration and Control team, as well as establishing and strengthening partnerships with the Engineering, Processes, Manufacturing, Materials, Programs, and Services areas.

How will you make a difference?

This person will be responsible for the management of the MBOM (Manufacturing Bill of Materials), as well as monitoring and analyzing the main performance indicators of the Supply Chain area.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Higher education in Engineering, Administration or related fields.

  • Good understanding of finance and business impact factors, with the ability to communicate engineering changes in long-term strategic plans.
  • Ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively with different areas of the organization.
  • Analytical profile, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of systems and processes related to MPS (Master Production Schedule) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning).
  • Fluency in English.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in leadership positions, with a focus on team and project management.

  • Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) management tools, especially in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) environments.

What will your day-to-day be like?

  • Supervise and guide the Configuration and Control team, offering continuous support and promoting skill development.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership in defining control models that ensure the results of the Supply Chain area.
  • Lead the Configuration and Control process, ensuring effective communication between areas such as Operations, Product Lines, Finance, and Sales.
  • Coordinate the creation and release of manufacturing bills of materials (MBOMs), in partnership with the configuration control team, as new programs are included in the Master Schedule.
  • Manage the MBOM of programs based on approved EBOMs (Engineering Bills of Materials).
  • Support manufacturing or purchase decisions for MBOM items, considering the plant's production capacity and acquisition strategies.
  • Actively participate in weekly program meetings, ensuring alignment and continuous progress.
  • Ensure the correct registration of part numbers with the appropriate fiscal parameters.
  • Control the parameterization of parts, ensuring consistency in fiscal rules between the Contagem organizations.
  • Monitor and centralize productivity indicators, ensuring that the entire organization has access to accurate and consistent information.
