Position Overview:
The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can handle the pressure of a deadline driven environment. You have strong administration skills, and you are service focussed and ask for clarity when required.
What you will be doing:
- Ensures the accuracy of information by communicating in a timely and organized manner.
- Assists and supports the Production Coordinator, Production Manager, and Supervisors with day-to-day projects as they arise.
- Coordinate and track the progress of deliverables and targets.
- Distribute artwork and materials for comment and approval.
- Attend team and client briefing sessions, take accurate notes and quickly communicate them to your team.
- Help coordinate and communicate shifts in schedules, calendars, and meetings.
- Maintain files as requested.
- Create a supportive, friendly, and professional atmosphere.
- Remain proactive.
What you bring with you:
- Minimum one year of experience in similar roles or strong production management skills.
- Production and project tracking experience using spreadsheets, databases and database software (such as Shotgun/ShotGrid) is a plus.
- Strong computer skills especially with Ms Office suite, including Excel & Word and of the Google Suite including Sheets and Docs
- Understanding and keen on learning about the animation pipeline.
- Previous experience in a Production Assistant role is a plus.
- Fluent in English, oral and written
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and change course of action quickly
- Excellent communication & organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Team player attitude.
