Job Description

As a Production Manager at GOALS, you'll play a key role in aligning teams and ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery of their football game. Responsibilities include beat planning, facilitating team ceremonies (standups, retrospectives), identifying and mitigating blockers, translating high-level goals into actionable deliverables, and fostering team collaboration. You'll need strong organizational and communication skills, experience with agile methodologies and game production, and a results-focused mindset. This is a temporary contract role until February 2026, covering parental leave.

Welcome to the production team

As a production manager at GOALS, you have a key role when it comes to aligning the teams and making sure we deliver on time and at quality. The role requires communication across disciplines and facilitates discussions where the participants have different specialties. The production manager brings order to the projects and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. To achieve this, the production manager may need to participate in design and/or technical discussions and understand what is being said. It is a role where you have to be comfortable with asking questions about progress in a constructive way.

This is a temporary employment opportunity running until February 2026.


At GOALS, you will...

  • Organize and oversee beat planning in collaboration with the COO and squad leads, ensuring processes are smooth, simple, and agile.
  • Facilitate team ceremonies (retrospectives, standups, etc.), ensuring they are effective, actionable, and productive.
  • Be responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of the production.
  • Identify and mitigate blockers, reduce dependencies, and ensure unplanned features are addressed appropriately.
  • Work closely with leadership to translate high-level goals into actionable deliverables, setting clear deadlines and expectations for squads.

 

Ideally you have...

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across disciplines and facilitate discussions among teams with diverse specialties.
  • Experience in agile methodologies and project management in game production.
  • A result-focused mindset.
  • Experience in fostering team collaboration and creating alignment across multiple stakeholders in game development.  

About the Employment

The position is temporary, covering parental leave from June 2025 to February 2026. You can work from our Stockholm office, hybrid, or fully remote from anywhere in Europe.

For this position, we do not offer relocation assistance.
