Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Account Director to join our Games team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing account strategies, building long-term relationships with strategic accounts, and driving revenue through upselling and cross-selling. You will act as a trusted advisor, educate clients on service lines, renew contracts, negotiate pricing, and resolve customer issues, contributing to culturally rich experiences for clients worldwide.
Must Have:
  • Develop account strategies to achieve revenue and margin goals.
  • Build and manage long-term relationships with existing strategic accounts.
  • Renew customer contracts, negotiate pricing, and resolve complex challenges.
  • Upsell and cross-sell to new studios, buyers, and lines of services.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and executive sponsors.
  • Conduct executive summary and capability refresh with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with global sales team to identify and grow opportunities.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Lionbridge Games’ services and solutions.
  • Proven experience in Games industry sales with a track record of exceeding targets.
  • Proven Account Management experience in establishing long-term partnerships.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic mindset and business acumen.
  • High level of self-motivation and initiative.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Account Director to join our Games team at Lionbridge. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing account strategies as well as building and fostering long term relationships with existing, strategic accounts. Your primary objective will be to upsell and cross-sell to new lines of business as well as being a trusted advisor with our stakeholders. As a key member of our Games sales team, you will educate clients on our service lines, renew customer contacts, negotiate pricing and resolve customer-related issues. What You Will Do:

  • Develop account strategies to achieve the stated revenue and margin goals with a deep understanding of your account’s business goals, competition, growth plans and obstacles.
  • Build and manage long term relationships with existing strategic accounts. This role also deals with renewing customer contracts, negotiating pricing, and resolving complex challenges with customers.
  • Upselling and cross-selling to new studios, new buyers, and new line of services to fill up the white space and drive new revenue.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Conduct executive summary and capability refresh with key stakeholders to drive new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with global sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Reinforce Lionbridge’s reputation as a Global Games Leader by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of Lionbridge Games’ services and solutions.

To Be Successful You Will Have:

  • Proven experience in Games industry sales, with a track record of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Proven Account Management experience in establishing long term partnerships with partners.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex solutions to diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to foster trust and credibility with clients and internal teams.
  • Strategic mindset and business acumen, with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities for revenue growth.
  • High level of self-motivation and initiative, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools, with the ability to leverage technology to drive sales effectiveness.
  • Proven ability to manage a designated territory.
  • The capability to adapt to changing client needs, industry dynamics, and company goals, adjusting sales approaches accordingly.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
