Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support team. This role is responsible for managing key HR processes including payroll coordination, employee lifecycle management, and compliance with Mexican labor laws. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with operative-level employees and demonstrate proficiency in Excel and English.
Must Have:
  • Coordinate payroll processing with external vendor.
  • Prepare and validate bi-weekly payroll incidents.
  • Oversee termination process and generate turnover.
  • Conduct offboarding process, exit interviews, data analysis.
  • Assist HR Manager with annual salary/merit and performance review.
  • Assist with data maintenance and integrity of HR systems (SAP, SF).
  • Attend employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, policies.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and local employment regulations.
  • Manage employee TOR form requests.
  • Track and maintain employee corrective actions.
  • Personnel administration including onboarding, terminations, records.
  • Provide support during audits and inspections.
  • Act as a backup for onboarding process.
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience as HR Generalist, preferably in operative industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field (Business Administration).
  • Strong understanding of HR and payroll processes, benefits, compensation.
  • Experience handling employee relations, employment law, performance management.
  • Experience with employee development, corrective action, regulatory reporting.
  • Experience handling disciplinary actions and terminations.
  • Advanced English level (C1 or higher).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point).
  • Proficiency in SAP, Success Factors, and Darwin Box.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate payroll processing with external vendor, managing the end-to-end cycle.
  • Prepare and validate bi-weekly pay roll incidents (e.g. overtime, vacations, deductions, medical leave, etc.).
  • Oversee termination process, ensuring proper internal and external notifications for compliance; generate turnover process.
  • Conduct offboarding process including, exit interviews, data analysis, and identify patterns & potential improvements.
  • Assist HR Manager with annual salary/merit process and performance review process.
  • Assist with data maintenance and ensure the integrity of the HR systems (SAP, SF). Support implementation or upgrading of HR system modules as needed.
  • Attend employee inquiries related with payroll, benefits, policies & HR procedures
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with federal and local regulations concerning employment.
  • Manage employee TOR form requests, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Track and maintain employee corrective actions.
  • Personnel administration including employee onboarding, terminations, and updates in systems, preparation of employee letters, and maintenance of both physical and digital employee records.
  • Provide support during audits and inspections.
  • Act as a backup for onboarding process.
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends any other meetings as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

To be Successful You Will Have

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, preferably in operative industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field (Business Administration)
  • Strong understanding/experience with human resources and payroll processes, benefit & compensation administration, handling employee relations issues, employment law local regulations, performance management, employee development, corrective action, regulatory reporting and experience handling disciplinary actions and terminations.
  • Advanced English level (C1 or higher).
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point).
  • Proficiency in SAP, Success Factors, Preferent Darwin Box
  • High level of interpersonal skills and professionalism to handle sensitive and confidential situations and detailed documentation.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and support.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
