Job Summary

Neolytix is seeking a Medical Billing Team Lead to support healthcare providers. This role involves leading a team of customer service professionals, managing client queries and escalations, monitoring workflow to meet SLAs, tracking metrics, and developing processes for productivity and quality improvement. The Team Lead will also participate in new pilot projects and work with managers to resolve personnel issues, while performing follow-up work and identifying trends to aid collections.

Must Have

  • Lead a team of Customer Service Professionals.
  • Respond to clients on process-related queries and manage 1st level escalations.
  • Monitor and manage workflow or daily targets to assure timely delivery of agreed SLAs.
  • Track and maintain metrics for attendance, productivity, etc.
  • Develop processes to improve productivity and quality.
  • Participate in new pilot projects and facilitate knowledge transition.
  • Work with managers to resolve personnel problems or conflicts.
  • Perform follow-up work as required.
  • Identify trends within the portfolio to aid collections and improve productivity.
  • 1 year of Team Lead experience.
  • 1 year of Healthcare Account experience.
  • Experience with Insurance Coordination, Denial Management, Eligibility and Benefits, ICD/CPT codes, Posting of Payments, Claims Preparation and Transmission, and Claims Follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Customer Service Professionals.
  • Respond to clients on any process related queries and manage 1st level escalations.
  • Monitoring and managing workflow or daily targets to assure timely delivery of agreed SLA’s.
  • Tracking and maintaining metrics for a variety of data includes attendance, productivity, etc.
  • Develop processes to improve productivity and quality of the team.
  • Participate in the new pilots projects & work towards proper transition of knowledge to team.
  • Work with managers to resolve any personnel problems or conflicts that may arise in the team.
  • In addition to administrative responsibilities, the Team leader may be expected to perform follow-up work as well depending upon the requirement.
  • Identify trends within the portfolio to aid collections and improve the productivity.
