Job Description

The Program Specialist supports Aledade's Scripps team, focusing on operational efficiency. This role involves managing key initiatives related to project management, rostering, contracting, meeting planning, reporting, and campaign execution. The specialist will proactively identify process improvements, create and distribute KPI reports, and collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution, high-quality deliverables, and continuous operational excellence. Candidates must be located in California.
Good To Have:

Must Have:

The Program Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing the operational efficiency of Aledade's Scripps team. This role is responsible for managing key initiatives related to project management, rostering, contracting, meeting planning, reporting and campaign execution while proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements. The program specialist will also create and distribute regular KPI reports. The Program Specialist collaborates cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution of projects, maintaining high-quality deliverables, and driving continuous operational excellence.

Please note: Candidates must be located in California to be considered.

Primary Duties:

Project & Process Management

  • Lead and execute high-impact projects related to contracting, rostering, and campaign implementation for the Explorer/Explorer Prime models.
  • Exercise judgment and project management on a range of special projects and cross-functional initiatives to drive operational excellence.
  • Identify and recommend solutions to ambiguous problems that align with program goals, moving work forward even in the absence of clearly defined next steps.

Operational Oversight & Market Support

  • Maintain full autonomy in managing established processes and market operations while escalating critical decisions as needed.
  • Own and continuously improve workflows related to rostering, contracting, and campaign execution, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Explorer, providing input on cross-functional work, with final decisions requiring Explorer leadership approval.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication

  • Manage communication efforts related to key initiatives, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment across teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as A+, Performance, Program Teams, and Local Markets to enhance operational workflows.

Documentation, Training & Team Support

  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials to support team success.
  • Mentor and train team members, fostering a knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Track and communicate regulatory requirements and completion.

Data Analysis & Strategic Insights

  • Analyze and interpret data to provide insights that inform strategic decisions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in healthcare
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and ongoing projects.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to last-minute tasks, and adherence to hard deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects to completion.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate roadblocks and develop effective solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information concisely.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment, collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred KSA's:

  • Experience in healthcare operations, particularly in practice rostering, contracting, or campaign management.
  • Proficiency in workflow management tools such as Salesforce, Monday.com, Mailchimp or Zendesk.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
  • Ability to travel to annual team meeting and occasional meeting, as needed (Approx. 25% across the year to San Diego or for team retreats)

Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000 base + company bonus + equity

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
