We are seeking a project manager with strong expertise in industrial buildings to join our Industry Buildings business unit. You will be part of our Construction Management and Health, Safety and Environment team, focusing on project and construction management for large and complex industrial buildings. The role involves leading and executing projects for pharma and Life Science clients, ensuring quality, managing finances, and contributing to team development. You will work in a professional environment with a focus on knowledge sharing and collaboration, enjoying autonomy and professional challenges.
Must have:
  • Drive project and design management for tasks within design, planning, and execution of construction
  • Participate in the department's professional development and help raise the professional level of less experienced colleagues
  • Provide innovative and holistic advice both internally regarding projects and externally to our customers
  • Manage economy, planning, and time management in your projects
  • Ensure interdisciplinary review and quality
  • Report status to internal and external steering groups
  • Participate in preparing bids and sales-related activities
  • Relevant education (engineer, constructor, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5-10 years of project management experience
  • Solid design experience in construction
  • Experience with sales and customer contact, including preparing bids
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to juggle many tasks
  • Eye for detail without losing focus on the whole
  • Combine systematic and methodical approaches with flexibility and presence in project management
  • High degree of independence

We are looking for a project manager with strong expertise in industrial buildings for our Industry Buildings business unit. About the job

You will become part of our Construction Management and Health, Safety and Environment team (CM & HSE). In this team, we work dedicatedly with construction and project management for large and complex industrial buildings, as well as with work environment and safety approvals. With us, you will be part of a professional environment focused on knowledge sharing and good collaboration. We are looking for a Project Manager who, in collaboration with our interdisciplinary project teams, can lead and ensure effective execution of complex projects for our customers in the pharma and Life Science industry. Specifically, we need your help to:

  • Drive project and design management for tasks within design, planning, and execution of construction.
  • Participate in the department's professional development and help raise the professional level of less experienced colleagues.
  • Provide innovative and holistic advice both internally regarding projects and externally to our customers.
  • Manage economy, planning, and time management in your projects.
  • Ensure interdisciplinary review and quality.
  • Report status to internal and external steering groups.
  • Participate in preparing bids and sales-related activities.

Qualifications

We imagine that you will fit well into the job if you:

  • Possess a relevant education or background such as an engineer, constructor, or equivalent.
  • Have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience with project management.
  • Have solid design experience in construction from previous employments.
  • Have experience with sales and customer contact, including preparing bids.
  • Have good communication skills and thrive with juggling many tasks.
  • Have an eye for detail without losing focus on the whole.
  • Can combine systematic and methodical approaches with flexibility and presence in your project management style.
