Job Description

IGT seeks a QA Engineer with 5+ years' experience to design, develop, and execute automated tests for software products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and launch new features. Responsibilities include identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs; performing regression testing; developing testing processes; monitoring debugging; investigating software issues; and training users. The ideal candidate will be proficient in automated testing tools (JMeter, Postman, Python scripting), SQL, scripting languages, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Role Overview:

 

At IGT, we have an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

 

  • Design, develop, and complete automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products!
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
  • Perform detailed regression testing where bugs are resolved.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Monitor debugging process results.
  • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Required Experience

 

  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role for at least 5 years
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools. (JMeter, Postman, and Python scripting)
  • You will have a good knowledge of SQL and scripting languages.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • A good command of English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $69,000 - $109,417. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
