Amber is seeking talented individuals for a QA Tester role, specifically for a Graveyard Shift (11 PM - 8 AM Manila Time). The individual contributor will be responsible for checking and reporting software products for defects or issues according to project standards. Key responsibilities include performing basic testing (scripted & unscripted), identifying and analyzing defects, reporting and documenting them, understanding technical specifications, analyzing use cases for validity, and communicating effectively with the team.
Must have:
- Aptitude in defect identification
- Defect research, review, and documentation
- Good English communication skills (verbal & written)
- Demonstrated prioritization skills
Good to have:
- Experience with test case creation
- Test planning knowledge
- Mobile and web platform testing experience
- Web-based application testing experience

Important Information: We are looking for QA Testers who are interested in working on a Graveyard Shift schedule, from 11 PM - 8 AM Manila Time daily.
About the role:
Individual contributor responsible for checking and reporting software products for defects or issues (according to project standards).
The Quest:
- Understanding and performing of all levels of basic testing (scripted & unscripted tests, bug regression, basic ad-hoc requests) in a timely manner
- Identification and analysis of defects (reproducibility, back-tracing)
- Reporting and documenting defects and issues according to project standards
- Understand the technical specifications of the product
- Analyzing use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
- Active, thorough, and timely communication with the team
The Skills:
- Understanding and proven aptitude in defect identification, research, review, documentation, communication, and assessment
- Demonstrated prioritization skills
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Nice to have:
- Experience with test case creation and essentials test planning knowledge.
- Previous experience with mobile and web platforms (Android, iOS, Windows, Facebook).
- Previous experience with testing web-based applications.
