Job Description

Perplexity is seeking a diligent Quality Assurance Tester to join their team, focusing on revolutionizing internet search and interaction. The role involves understanding and analyzing existing products and new features, detecting and debugging UI issues across various devices and operating systems, and developing and executing comprehensive test plans. The ideal candidate will work closely with product management, engineering, and support teams, ensuring a high-quality product through strong communication, attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn.

Good To Have:

Experience with Playwright and Typescript
Experience leading projects or teams

Must Have:

Understand and analyze the existing product as well as new features
Detect bugs and UI issues on a variety of devices, browsers, and operating systems
Work with product management and engineering to debug and resolve issues
Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Diligent approach to testing and QA
Organization and communication skills
Understanding of AI products, including prompting
Ability to learn new software tools quickly
Understanding of user needs and situations
4+ years of industry experience
