Job Summary

SOFTSWISS is expanding its Setup Team and is seeking an experienced Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of its iGaming Platform. The role involves applying industry-standard QA practices, collaborating with development and product teams, designing and executing test plans, and optimizing testing processes across the software development lifecycle. The engineer will contribute to identifying and resolving issues early, driving continuous improvements, and facilitating seamless, high-quality product releases within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Must Have

  • Participate in refinement sessions and QA process improvements
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and lead testing initiatives
  • Demonstrate strong ownership and proactive approach to quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, DevOps, Backend, Frontend)
  • Work comfortably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience writing clear test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools (TestRail, Xray, Zephyr)
  • Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Experience with REST API testing (Postman, Swagger)
  • Knowledge of browser dev tools, network analysis, debugging
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in defect tracking systems (Jira)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good spoken and written English communication (B2+)

Good to Have

  • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO)
  • Experience in testing mobile applications (iOS and Android)
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6)
  • Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., gambling, banking, health tech)

Purpose of the Role:

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by applying industry-standard QA practices and tools.

You’ll collaborate closely with development and product teams to design, execute, and optimize test plans across the full software development lifecycle.

Your work will help identify and resolve issues early, drive continuous improvements in testing processes, and contribute to seamless, high-quality product releases.
