Job Summary

Broadcom is seeking a Reliability Engineer to join its Global Operation Quality and Reliability (GO Q&R) Team in Fort Collins, CO. This role focuses on enabling the company to bring leading-edge Silicon and Packaging solutions to market through proper product qualification planning, execution, and reporting. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of product qualifications, requiring knowledge of advanced package reliability assessment and familiarity with stress systems.

Must Have

  • Responsible for all or part of the planning, execution and completion of Product Qualifications.
  • Knowledge of, or interest in the proper Reliability assessment of advance packages.
  • Familiarity with Reliability Stress Systems (Acoustic Microscopy, Visual Microscope, Akrometrix) or ability to learn.
  • Experience with some of these skills/tools and an ability to learn others in this hands-on Reliability Engineering position.
  • BS Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical), Computer Science, Materials Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of related experience.

  • Knowledge or experience in Shadow Moire (create temperature profile, prepare samples, run profile, understand what represent good vs bad data).
  • Program Management +5Yr experience.

In search of a Reliability Engineer to join the Global Operation Quality and Reliability (GO Q&R) Team. The GO Q&R Team enables to bring leading edge Silicon and Packaging solutions to market with proper product qualification planning, execution and reporting.

Position Description:

Reliability Engineering is a multifaceted discipline. A successful GO Q&R Team member will have knowledge of, or interest in the proper Reliability assessment of advance packages. They will be familiar with Reliability Stress Systems or show an ability to learn these types of systems (Acoustic Microscopy, Visual Microscope, Akrometrix). A successful candidate will have experience with some of these skills/tools and an ability to learn others in this hands-on Reliability Engineering position. Exceptional team working skills and communication are essential.

Responsibilities:

A Reliability Engineer will be responsible for all or part of the planning, execution and completion of Product Qualifications. A successful Reliability Engineer will be creative, tenacious, flexible, a self-starter with great written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Job Description:

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $88,300 - $141,300.

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
