QNX is seeking a Strategic Account Manager for its North American Sales team to sell QNX products, services, and solutions within the general embedded markets, including Robotics, Industrial Automation, Medical Devices, and Defense. The role involves developing strategic account plans, building executive customer relationships, leading sales cycles, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to exceed sales goals. Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent relevant experience in the embedded market.
  • A proven track record of consistent sales quota achievement & over-achievement.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Confident and influential communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the real-time embedded software market.
  • Experience in consultative selling of software solutions.
  • Experience negotiating and closing large multi-element corporate purchase agreements.
  • Discipline for accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to visit clients, support trade shows and internal meetings.

As part of our successful North American Sales team, the Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for selling QNX products, services and solutions to your target accounts. The target market is the general embedded markets include Robotics, Industrial Automation, Medical Devices and Defense. In this role, you will:

  • Sell QNX software solutions into key accounts within North America. You’ll be tasked with diving deep into these accounts to understand their strategic initiatives and align QNX’s unique value proposition to drive positive business outcomes for your customers.
  • Develop Strategic Account Plans to better understand your Accounts and align with their unique differentiation.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting Executive customer relationships, by exceeding expectations and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Work with a cross functional sales team, comprised of a Field Application Engineer, Inside Sales Representative, Other Regional Sales Managers and a Business Development Representative. You and your team will identify customer requirements, then deliver product and services solutions aligned with customer requirements.
  • Lead the sales cycle from discovery through revenue recognition.
  • Leverage all QNX Software System cross functional departments to assist with sales growth strategy. This includes assisting in defining strategic marketing initiatives, liaising with R&D to communicate customer technical requirements, and ensuring support commitments are fulfilled to deliver customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular forecasting and reporting including managing the accuracy of the forecast pipeline, and lead management.
  • Most importantly your mission is to exceed sales goals with your extended team.

You will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business, MBA is a plus, or equivalent relevant experience in the embedded market.
  • A proven track record of consistent sales quota achievement & over-achievement.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills
