This Sales Support Executive role at Moonbug Entertainment supports the Distribution and Content Partnerships team in distributing Moonbug's Kids content across APAC markets. The role involves pre-sales and post-sales support, securing content distribution, and fostering relationships with broadcasters and digital platforms. The executive will manage content roll-out processes, collaborate with various internal teams, and advise on content optimization using industry knowledge. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for driving projects like localization and managing distribution updates.

Must Have:
  • Support the Distribution and Content Partnerships team with content distribution in APAC markets.
  • Responsible for pre-sales and post-sales activities.
  • Help secure distribution of Moonbug content and identify new opportunities.
  • Lead and manage processes for successful content roll-out.
  • Work closely with technical, operations, marketing, brand, production, localisation, and finance teams.
  • Leverage industry knowledge to advise on content optimization.
  • Drive and collaborate on projects like localisation and distribution updates.
  • Manage the Distribution team’s day to day administrative needs (avails list, sales support materials, release schedules, internal documents).
  • Optimize existing and new partnerships by addressing enquiries.
  • Build strong relationships with broadcast & digital partners.
  • Keep abreast of key industry trends and market research.
  • Liaise with partners and marketing team to optimise trade marketing.
  • Organise and help plan and manage events/content markets.
  • Represent the team in weekly internal calls.
  • Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks (processing payments, managing merch inventory, coordinating meetings).
  • Support HR and IT teams with on-boarding and off-boarding.
  • Experience in content distribution.
  • Fluent in Mandarin.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • Keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent client relationship & interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

This role will support the Distribution and Content Partnerships team with the distribution of Moonbug’s Kids content across APAC markets to ensure we achieve our ambitious goals.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the pre-sales and post sales and help the team secure the distribution of Moonbug content to facilitate strong relationships with leading TV broadcasters, operators and digital platforms while identifying new distribution opportunities in these regions. They will lead and manage the processes tied to successful roll-out of content, working closely with technical, operations, marketing, brand leads, production, localisation and finance teams.

With strong organisational and communication skills, they will leverage industry knowledge and trends to advise on content optimization. A keen problem solver and team player, they will drive and collaborate on numerous projects such as localisation and regular distribution updates/trackers while facilitating regular dialogue of the APAC-based team with key internal stakeholders in London and LA.

Responsibilities

Distribution - 80%

  • Work as part of the APAC Distribution and Content Partnerships team distributing content in key markets
  • Support sales directors in defining pan regional initiatives in line with Moonbug’s objectives
  • Manage the Distribution team’s day to day administrative needs – avails list, sales support materials, release schedules, internal documents.
  • Optimize existing and new partnerships by promptly addressing linear and VOD distribution partners enquiries.
  • Build strong relationships with new and existing broadcast & digital partners and other third parties
  • Drive project success by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including content delivery, legal, marketing and finance.
  • Keep abreast of key industry trends and market research
  • Liaise with existing distribution partners and marketing team to optimise trade marketing
  • Organise and help plan and manage events/ content markets
  • Represent the team in weekly internal calls

Office administration - 20%

  • Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks such as processing payments, managing merch inventory, and coordinating meetings.
  • Support HR team and IT team with on-boarding and off-boarding freelancers and staff.

Requirements

  • Experience in content distribution. Kids and programming experience a benefit but not essential
  • Fluent in Mandarin (Korean is a plus)
  • Proficiency in the Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, and Drive)
  • Keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent client relationship & interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Must be detail-oriented and have demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced, continually changing environment
