Job Description
As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will be responsible for identifying and isolating bugs within applications. This involves creating detailed bug reports with precise descriptions for easy reproduction, researching and implementing tools to enhance testing efficiency, writing unit tests, and debugging applications. The role demands meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
Must Have:
- Identify and document software bugs.
- Isolate bugs to find steps to reproduce them.
- Compile bugs with precise descriptions.
- Write unit tests for applications.
- Debug applications to fix errors.
Responsibilities
- Identify different bugs
- Isolate bugs (i.e. find steps to reproduce the identified bugs)
- Compile the bugs in a database or in given documents with precise description of the encountered issues for easy identification and reproduction
- Write/research for tools to speedup testing
- Write unit tests
- Debug applications
