Role: QA Tester

Location: East of Kailash, New Delhi

Experience: 2-4 years

Role Description

In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. You should be competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Review and analyze product specifications and develop effective test strategies and plans
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and conduct Functional testing of the Android/IOS App and React based webapp. This will include Usability, Compatibility and Localization testing and analyzing the results
• Conduct API level testing with Postman and simulating user flows using scripts and collection runners
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams and help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Maintaining versioned up-to-date Postman collections
• Ability to evaluate product code (Javascript, Kotlin) according to specifications is desirable

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years’ proven Automation and Manual testing experience as a QA Tester in Web & Mobile Applications. Experience in a start-up or Product based companies is a plus
• A degree in Engineering/MCA or similar equivalent experience
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks, SDLC, and regression testing and ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Good knowledge of React and Node.js and it's test platforms and writing, updating, and executing test cases in tools like Mocha, Chai, Jest
• Experience with web and app testing tools like Chrome Dev-tools, Selenium, Appium is a plus
• Experience with defect tracking using tools like Jira and Bugzilla
• Experience with Postman for automated API level testing
• Experience in working with GitHub and the Git version control system
• Experience in working with MySQL Workbench for validating DB data elements and running SQL queries is desirable
• Basic level knowledge about AWS Services and hands-on AWS Console experience is desirable
• Experience with live streaming technologies and protocols is a big plus
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
