Quality Information Systems Engineer

Overall purpose of the Quality Information Systems Engineer role:

This role is part of the Quality Information Systems team, working with Quality and IT experts contributing to Total Quality Operations at NXP. This team assures and supports operational continuity of Quality Information Systems, defines, and maintains the Quality Information Systems vision and roadmap, and enables the Digital Transformation and systemic improvements accordingly.

Your responsibilities: 

• Solve organizational information problems by analyzing and addressing requirements
• Support and develop quality business (intelligence) reports & applications - including advanced analytics
  • Assure operational continuity: monitoring systems & reporting tools performance and aligning with IT support on changes
  • Facilitate Citizen Developers and Citizen Development within Quality Organization
  • Actual report and app development, including working with IT experts to get the right data available
• Drive continuous improvement
  • Assist managing an improvement roadmap together with process owners
  • Manage the change request process for functional and architectural improvements.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: 

0-2 years of work experience

Excellent English skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to collaborate across various functional groups and with various cultures.

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree – preferably in engineering.

Strong affinity with IT, data and mathematics.

Ideally expertise with PowerBI and PowerApps.

Proficiency in organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple projects.

Manufacturing & Quality affinity - ideally semiconductors and Supply Chain knowledge.
