Job Description

Valeo is seeking an R&D Trainee/Apprentice/VIE for the Aftermarket Department. The role involves creating BOMs, analyzing components, preparing and conducting validations, and generating test reports. Responsibilities also include creating 2D drawings and 3D models, managing technical documentation in the PLM system, and analyzing measurement results. The ideal candidate is an engineering student or graduate with a Category B driving license, proficient in English, technical drawing, and MS Office/Google Docs.
Must Have:
  • Creating BOMs
  • Analyzing components
  • Preparing and conducting validations
  • Preparing test and validation reports
  • Creating new revisions and references
  • Creating 2D drawings + 3D models
  • Controlling drawings and managing them in the system
  • Analyzing measurement chains and results
  • Managing technical documentation in the PLM system
  • Student of engineering studies (or graduate)
  • Category B driving license
  • English language proficiency
  • Knowledge of technical drawing
  • Proficiency in MS Office and/or Google Documents

R&D Trainee in Aftermarket Department

Your tasks will include:

  • creating BOMs;
  • component analysis;
  • preparation and conducting validation;
  • preparation of test and validation reports;
  • creating new revisions and references;
  • creating 2D drawings + 3D models;
  • drawing control and management in the system;
  • analysis of measurement chains, measurement results;
  • managing technical documentation in the PLM system.

  • You are a student of engineering studies (student or graduate status is required), preferred fields: mechanical and material departments
  • You have a category B driving license;
  • You are available at least 3 days a week (Monday-Friday);
  • You know English at a level enabling free communication;
  • You know technical drawing;
  • You use MS Office and/or Google Documents;
  • You are motivated to work, independent, open to new tasks, and able to work in a team.
