Job Summary:
In an assigned territory, works with the National Field Team and National Account Management Teams to manage accounts, ensure continued business, and increase penetration of key accounts. Sources, vets, and manages provider and technician base. Performs regular inspections and visits to customers in support of maintenance contracts, as well as creating opportunities for additional business. Works in coordination with their Sr. Director and National Account teams to maintain and win new business in outlying areas at target revenue goals while maintaining high quality services. Acts in support of Regions and Territory to cover open field positions and support staffed districts, onboard new customers, and manage natural catastrophes when directed by Sr. Director, Field Operations. Responsible for natural disaster contingency plans and customer satisfaction during major storms or unforeseen events. The Regional Accounts Manager supports all aspects of the management process to ensure consistent achievement of short- and long-term goals in the mission statement based on our core values. This position has budgetary responsibilities.
What You'll Do:
- Works closely with the Sr. Director, Field Operations and National Account Management Teams to establish and maintain corporate accounts in a region or territory outside of field staffed districts.
- Make regular visits to corporate customers in support of maintenance contracts and perform site inspection property audits, with an eye toward the opportunity to add on services.
- Works to build relationships with customers, providers, and technicians in assigned Region.
- Source, vets and manages provider base, ensuring quality delivery of services. This function will be done both in-person and remotely as account ownership will cover several States.
- Must respond with a sense of urgency to escalations and customer requests.
- Manages time to accomplish set KPIs, including an assigned weekly goal of scheduled visits as well as meeting and exceeding the incremental revenue expectations.
- Provides key market information and contributes to DMGs long and short-term strategies.
- Owns RFP initiative while negotiating with providers to secure target revenue goals.
- Manages territory and travel expenses within or below budget.
- Supports current field staff in specific districts during large projects.
- Expected to manage and operate within assigned geographies during Natural Disasters or States of Emergency.
- Act as interim District Manager during a vacancy, vacation, or leave of absence.
- This function will require significant extended travel.
- Extensive outdoor activity while performing site audits or managing natural disasters.
- Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects.
- Expectation to be able to adjust travel and schedule frequently to respond to opportunities or customer requests.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
What You Need:
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or Relative Experience; HS Diploma or GED required.
- Computer skills and knowledge of hardware & software required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Embraces technology. Experience using smart applications like an iPad or iPhone is a plus. Preferred experience with CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must provide their own vehicle.
- Ability to manage the stress of a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet the in-person requirements of the team and/or business needs.
