Fanatee is seeking a meticulous and culturally aware Regional Editor to support the French Canadian market in a freelance, part-time capacity. The role involves reviewing and localizing in-game content into Quebecois French, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural alignment. Responsibilities include analyzing game puzzles, curating content from local sources, collaborating with teams, and providing feedback to improve localization quality and player engagement. This position requires a deep understanding of Quebecois culture and language nuances, along with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Good To Have:
- Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field is a plus
Must Have:
- Native fluency in French Canadian and deep knowledge of Quebecois culture
- Prior experience in localization, editing, or content review is preferred

- Interest in word games, culture, and language-focused entertainment
Location: Remote - US or CA | Hours: Approx. 20–40 hours/month | Language Focus: French (Canada/Quebec)

- Curate and input quotes or content from local authors and figures to enrich gameplay.
- Collaborate with content and localization teams to maintain editorial consistency across content.
- Offer clear feedback on improving localization quality and player engagement.
Requirements:
- Native fluency in French Canadian and deep knowledge of Quebecois culture and language nuances.
- Prior experience in localization, editing, or content review is preferred.
