POLITICO is seeking a Renewal Specialist to join its Pro Sales team. This part-time role involves supporting renewals across diverse client portfolios, ensuring consistent, high-quality service. The specialist will act as a floating resource, filling gaps for Account Managers and maintaining continuity. Responsibilities include proactive outreach, consultative conversations, and cross-sell opportunities, collaborating with various internal teams to deliver excellent customer experiences and meet renewal goals.
Must have:
  • Support renewals through proactive outreach, consultative conversations, and cross-sell opportunities
  • Balance transactional efficiency with deeper engagement where risk or opportunity warrants
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Sales Enablement, Product, and Marketing to deliver an excellent customer experience
  • Maintain detailed client notes and pipeline updates in Salesforce
  • Meet and exceed individual renewal goals

We’re hiring a Renewal Specialist to join our dynamic and fast-paced Pro Sales team! This role is designed with flexibility and impact in mind as you’ll serve as a floating resource, stepping in to support renewals across a diverse portfolio of small-to-large organizations spanning multiple industries. You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining continuity across the team by filling gaps for Account Managers when needed, ensuring our customers receive consistent, high-quality service and support.

For part-time, we are looking at less than 30 hours per week. If we hire a part-time person, the expectation is working 4 hours per day (Mon–Fri), 20 hours per week.

What You'll Need:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a sales and/or account management role
  • A proven track record of growing accounts through renewals
  • Experience successfully working cross-functionally with a Customer Success team to deliver client outcomes
  • High business and sales acumen
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
