Bosch Sensortec GmbH is a leader in MEMS sensing solutions for consumer electronics, developing key technologies for various devices. The company is expanding its MEMS technology to 300mm wafer and is seeking development engineers passionate about technology and process development. Responsibilities include driving and controlling innovative technology developments for complex products, implementing development goals collaboratively, and developing wafer processes hands-on in cleanroom and laboratory settings. The role also involves utilizing new technologies and materials, evaluating feasibility, coordinating interfaces, and cooperating with research institutes. The ideal candidate will have several years of relevant experience or a PhD, with strong knowledge in sensor, micromechanics, and semiconductor technology.

Job Description

To strengthen our leading market position within the MEMS sensors we will extend our MEMS technology to 300mm wafer. Therefore we are looking for highly engaged development engineers, who have a passion for technology and process development.

  • As a Development Engineer you will drive and control innovative technology developments for complex products - including scheduling and as customer interface
  • You implement development goals as part of a team of experts. You will achieve these goals through a combination of intensive, collaborative work, a high degree of personal responsibility and independence
  • You will have the opportunity to develop wafer processes for the manufacturing of micromechanical products: conceptually but as well hands-on in the clean room and in the laboratory
  • In addition, you will utilize new technologies and materials and perform both technical and economic evaluation of the feasibility of new processes
  • While coordinating internal interfaces in development and manufacturing you get to see the full picture: from start of development until the solutions are ready for series production
  • Staying up-to-date: You will be responsible for cooperation with research institutes for basic development and for managing quality assessments and process releases

Qualifications

  • Personality: Self-initiated, assertive, creative, team player, goal-oriented
  • Working Practice: Systematic, decisive, able to work under pressure
  • Experience and Know-How: Several years of professional relevant experience or PhD, very good knowledge in sensor, micromechanics and semiconductor technology required; knowledge of relevant analytical methods benefical; excellent understanding of physical principles and interrelationships
  • Language: Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Education: Completed university studies (Master/Diploma/PhD) in engineering or natural sciences, physics, chemistry, material sciences or a comparable qualification
