Job Description

The Sales and Logistics Specialist will support the Deputy General Manager, Sales and Marketing in managing and controlling sales and delivery processes. This role involves collaborating with local customers and the corporate sales function. Key responsibilities include providing logistic support for aftermarket sales activities in South Korea, managing and controlling the sales and delivery of spare parts, coordinating business between local customers and Headquarters sales on shipment arrangements, monitoring material delivery status, and handling import procedures. The specialist will also support customs clearance for imported materials through an agency and manage the relevant database, assist in bidding preparation and participation, and undertake ad hoc assignments.
Must have:
  • Degree in Shipping/Logistics/Supply Chain Management or higher
  • 1-3 years of experience in logistics and international shipping
  • Knowledge of Incoterm
  • Good command of English and Korean
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Driving License holder
Good to have:
  • Outward going and diligent attitude
  • Presentable for customer interaction
  • Ability to follow project timetables
  • Good interpersonal skills

How will you make a difference?

As Sales and Logistics Specialist, you will support Deputy General Manager, Sales and Marketing to manage and control sales and delivery. This role involves in collaborating with local customers and corporate sales function.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Provide logistic support for aftermarket sales activities in South Korea. Manage and control sales and delivery of spareparts;
  • Accountable for business coordination between local customers and Headquarters sales on shipment arrangement, monitor materials delivery status, import handling;
  • Support Custom Clearance for imported materials by agency and manage database;
  • Support bidding preparation and participation;
  • Assist the team in ad hoc assignment.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Degree holder in Shipping / Logistics / Supply Chain Management or above.
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience on logistics and international shipping including import handling and knowledge of Incoterm.
  • Outward going with diligent attitude to work and company. 
  • Presentable for customers to forward the image of Faiveley Transport required in the Korean market. 
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Korea.
  • Able to be involved in defined projects and follow up project timetables.
  • Able to work as part of a team, good interpersonal skills to work with local customers, internal departments and external parties.
  • Good computer competency in Microsoft Office and able to work in outlook mail environment.  
  • Driving License holder would be a necessary.
