Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Sales Development Representative is a dynamic individual passionate about surveillance, highly customer-focused, and efficient. Key tasks include prospecting for new business, developing relationships with decision-makers, understanding customer needs, tracking account activity, and generating leads from various sources. The role involves qualifying leads in Salesforce.com, coordinating webinars, meeting sales objectives, and handling inbound/outbound calls while adhering to daily metrics.
Must have:
  • Prospect for new business
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers
  • Understand and respond to customer needs
  • Track and report on account activity
  • Identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources
  • Qualify existing leads in Salesforce.com and Avigilon lead databases
  • Coordinate, promote, and lead webinars in assigned region
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives
  • Accept inbound and perform outbound telephone calls
  • Meet and exceed daily call & activity metrics
  • Align with other members of the sales organization to support revenue targets
  • Work onsite in Allen, TX Monday - Friday
  • Bachelors Degree or 1+ year of sales/customer support
Good to have:
  • Six months to one year of experience within an inside sales organization
  • Experience with technology sales
  • Salesforce.com CRM experience
  • Previous experience in a sales development role

Job Details

Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, Sales Development holds a key position that requires a dynamic individual who is knowledgeable and passionate about surveillance and is highly customer-focused and efficient.

  • Tasks will include prospecting for new business to develop relationships with key decision-makers, understand and respond to customer needs, track and report on account activity.
  • Lead generation expertise to include the ability to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including prospect lists, discovery and individual research.
  • Qualify all existing leads in Salesforce.com and all Avigilon lead databases and resources set forth by the Inside Sales Manager, North America that may be generated from sales, tradeshows, telesales, marketing, referrals, partners, website, consultants, and call campaigns.
  • Coordinate, promote and lead webinars in your assigned region as directed by the Inside Sales Manager.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives for your assigned territory.
  • Accept inbound and perform outbound telephone calls to identify sales opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed daily call & activity metrics.
  • Align with other members of the sales organization to support overall company revenue targets.
  • Must be able to go in the Allen, TX office Monday - Friday

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six months to one year of experience within an inside sales organization.
  • Preferred experience with technology sales.
  • Preferred Salesforce.com CRM experience.
  • Preferred previous experience in a sales development role.
