We’re growing our Public Sector Sales Development team and are looking for curious, purpose-driven individuals with a passion for tech, people, and impact.
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll play a critical role in connecting public sector organisations. including government departments to non-profits, with the tools they need to better serve their communities.
You'll manage both inbound and outbound engagement, identifying opportunities and nurturing early-stage conversations that set the stage for deeper partnerships.
Whether responding to incoming interest or proactively reaching out to new contacts, your work will be the first step in helping customers realise the value of Salesforce. You'll collaborate closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Industry teams to build pipeline, promote relevant events, and ensure customers feel heard and understood from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing
Manage a mix of inbound and outbound leads across the government and nonprofit sectors, identifying prospects who can benefit from Salesforce solutions
Qualify leads from a variety of sources, including website inquiries, webinar attendees, third-party events, referrals, and outbound campaigns
Conduct thoughtful and engaging outreach via phone, email, social platforms, and events to initiate conversations with potential customers
Understand prospect needs and challenges, and craft compelling messages that spark curiosity and drive interest in Salesforce
Collaborate closely with Business Development Representatives (BDRs), Account Executives (AEs) and Marketing to build pipeline and align outreach efforts
Promote and support public sector–specific events, webinars and campaigns, ensuring targeted outreach and strong attendance
Leverage Salesforce tools and resources including Trailhead to build your knowledge of our technology, value propositions and public sector use cases
Maintain accurate records of your interactions and activities in Salesforce CRM, supporting seamless handovers and pipeline transparency
Demonstrate a growth mindset, take initiative and embrace learning opportunities as you develop your sales skills and public sector knowledge
