As a Sales Executive focused on the North America Region, you will utilize your technical knowledge and industry experience to maximize the value of Cadence solutions. You will connect with stakeholders, identify challenges, and drive new business. Responsibilities include managing accounts, identifying opportunities, delivering presentations, and closing contracts. The role requires strong relationship-building and communication skills. The ideal candidate should have a track record of CAE sales leadership. They will work with the field technical team to deliver solutions specific to the Automotive, High-Tech, and Industrial equipment markets.

  • Structure, negotiate, and close CAE product contracts.

As a Sales Executive focused on the North America Region, you will utilize your technical knowledge, understanding of customer issues, and broad industry experience to maximize the value of Cadence solutions and workflows.

You will need to rely on your strong relationship building and superior communication skills to connect with business and technology customer stakeholders, identify critical challenges and gain buy-in to drive new business.

The ideal candidate will reside in the Western United States, possess relationships with the leading automotive manufacturers and consumer product companies, and demonstrate a track record of CAE sales leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing strategic accounts, identify areas of growth and drive sales with solid and consistent YoY growth, while developing key executive level relationships
  • Identify and qualify opportunities at new accounts, establish relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and decision makers at all levels of the customer organization to and grow the mechanical systems business
  • Work with the field technical team to deliver solutions specific to the Automotive, High-Tech, and Industrial equipment markets.
  • The ability to deliver presentations with compelling technical and economic value propositions for engineering and business staff at all levels to build customer relationships and become a “trusted advisor”
  • Direct successful pre-sales campaigns (setting objectives, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering solutions) working with Cadence technical staff (application engineering, program management, R&D) and customers (engineers, managers, IT, leadership).
  • Structure, negotiate, and close CAE product contracts

Position requirements:

Experience

5+ years of Sales/Sales Management with experience selling CAE products and services

Education

MS or BS Degree in a technical discipline or business field

Location

USA - working in San Jose, CA, able to travel
