The Sales Operations Specialist, a key member of the Revenue Operations team, will manage administrative and operational functions, optimize processes, and provide seamless stakeholder support. This role requires cross-functional collaboration, attention to detail, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient sales operations and data-driven decision-making.
Must have:
  • Manage day-to-day Salesforce administration tasks
  • Develop complex reports and dashboards using Salesforce and BI tools
  • Salesforce Admin Certification
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks/projects
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Competency with relational databases and SQL queries
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, data manipulation, dashboard creation, and business intelligence skills
Good to have:
  • Experience in the annuity and life insurance industry

WHO YOU ARE:

The Sales Operations Specialist, as a key member of the Revenue Operations team, is responsible for various administrative and operational functions to ensure seamless stakeholder support while optimizing processes. To be successful in this role, one must enjoy working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. The ideal candidate possesses superior attention to detail with proven ability to quickly, consistently and accurately execute both standardized and ambiguous processes. This role requires a candidate who thinks strategically, has a strong work-ethic, takes initiative and is a problem solver.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Understand the business requirements and translate them into clear reporting needs
  • Develop and maintain sales analytics reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making for the sales and executive leadership teams.
  • Provide CRM administration support, training, system configuration, reporting, process documentation, and data maintenance.
  • Conduct business analysis including customer and market analysis for leads and prospects.
  • Conduct planning and preparation for Zinnia and prospect visits and conferences.
  • Serve as a point of contact for sales team members for questions and logistics.
  • Optimize sales and operational efficiency through innovative thinking, process improvement and system enhancements and best practice sharing.
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with aligned lines of business to more effectively achieve data needs and analysis results.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, understand priorities, and initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
  • Create and deliver clear communication and presentations, tailored to specific audiences.
  • Review release notes to understand new capabilities available in CRM and propose ways we can get more value

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 3+ yrs of experience managing day-to-day Salesforce administration tasks
  • Experience working with US-based stakeholders to develop complex reports and dashboards (Salesforce and BI experience preferred)
  • Salesforce Admin Certification required
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with ability to communicate across groups and levels within the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks/projects at once
  • Experience in the annuity and life insurance industry is preferred, but not required
  • Strong project management skills including organization, attention to detail and ability to coordinate and interact with cross functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Competency with relational databases and SQL queries.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, data manipulation, dashboard creation and business intelligence skills.
