Scrum Leader

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re hiring a Scrum Leader for a remote opportunity with a leading digital health organization. This is a contract role through December 31, 2025.

In this role, you'll join the Digital Health team to extend agile expertise and deliver digital solutions to consumers, patients, and providers. You will play a key role in coaching Scrum Teams, driving agile practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results.

There is no application deadline for this role.

Scrum Leader Responsibilities:

• Guide and coach Scrum Teams in applying Agile practices and principles.
• Facilitate Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospectives.
• Recognize team strengths and areas for improvement; provide coaching and development support.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering, and Design partners to deliver solutions.
• Support team self-organization and cross-functional growth.
• Remove impediments and collaborate with other Scrum Leaders to increase effectiveness.
• Contribute to improving Agile practices across the organization.
• Apply PI management and planning as needed.
• Work with stakeholders to drive decision-making and support product success.

Scrum Leader Qualifications:

• Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
• Deep knowledge of Scrum and the software development lifecycle.
• Expertise in backlog refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, and retrospectives.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Strong problem-solving and planning capabilities.
• Excellent collaboration and cultural awareness.
• Experience in highly regulated industries (preferred).
• Cloud or enterprise architecture knowledge (preferred).
• Healthcare technology familiarity (HIPAA/HITRUST) (preferred).
