Job Description

We're looking for a Senior 3D Environment Artist to join our team in Barcelona. This role involves modeling, texturing, and integrating in-game environments from concept to final implementation, ensuring a balance between performance and visual quality. Responsibilities include maintaining technical parameters for textures and materials, organizing levels, optimizing data and workflow, coordinating with design teams, and fixing bugs. The artist will also mentor junior team members.
Must have:
  • Model, texture and integrate in-game environments based on concepts, 3D mock-ups and art direction specifications.
  • Create environments from conception (Whitebox) to define spaces, balancing performance and visual quality.
  • Keep textures and materials within technical parameters and guides.
  • Contribute to keeping levels organized and taking care of necessary technical tasks (probes and other sub-systems).
  • Contribute to the optimization of both data and workflow.
  • Coordinate closely with the design teams in the level implementation process.
  • Track and fix bugs during and after creating the levels.
  • Help and mentor Junior members in the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Model, texture and integrate in-game environments based on concepts, 3D mock-ups and art direction specifications.
  • Creating the environment since its conception (Whitebox), to define spaces, as well as having the best balance between performance and visual quality.
  • Being responsible for keeping your own textures and materials within technical parameters and guides.
  • Contribute to keeping levels organized and taking care of necessary technical tasks (probes and other sub-systems).
  • Contribute to the optimization of both data and workflow.
  • Coordinate closely with the design teams in the level implementation process to ensure the result is the expected one.
  • Track and fix bugs during and after creating the levels.
  • Help and mentor Junior members in the team.
