Reporting to the Manager of Account Management, this role is crucial for activating brand partnerships and ensuring client success through pre-sale strategy, post-sale execution, reporting, and insights. Key responsibilities include media planning and strategy based on client KPIs and budget, client onboarding from pre-sale to post-sale, managing campaign timelines, delivering campaign reporting, offering optimizations, and collaborating on client retention and growth strategies. The position involves managing the entire pre-to-post campaign lifecycle.

Job Details

OVERVIEW
The Senior Account Manager will work across advertising partners at Morning Brew, overseeing clients in B2B, Lifestyle, and/or Finance verticals.

Reporting to the Manager of Account Management, the Senior Account Manager will play an integral role in activating Morning Brew’s brand partnerships, advertising executions and clients’ success by working directly with clients as well as internally across the entire Morning Brew Inc ecosystem. The role will focus on pre-sale strategy & planning and post-sale execution across our core offerings through reporting insights and recap. Our positions are remote hybrid; however, we have a strong preference for employees who can work from our Morning Brew HQ in NYC.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
The Senior Account Manager services the entire pre-to-post campaign lifecycle and owns all aspects of the program once the deal closes. You will be responsible for: 
- Media Planning & Strategy: Supporting the Brand Partnerships team with pre-sale strategy based on client’s KPIs, budget, timing, capabilities, etc.
- Client Onboarding: Owning the advertising partner’s transition from pre-sale to post-sale, supporting IO and other documentation logistics, booking in CRM system (Boostr), establishing KPIs and other benchmarks for success and facilitating kick-offs.
- Client Success: Facilitate smooth creative process, maintain campaign timelines, manage client feedback, and ensure approval prior to launch. 
- Reporting + Insights: Deliver campaign reporting, offer mid-campaign optimizations, and post-campaign delivery and wrap reporting.
- Client retention, renewal and growth: Collaborate with Brand Partnerships team to develop client renewal strategy based on performance and client objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-6 years project management experience in media working with cross-functional teams in a digital or creative environment (experience working in B2B is a plus) 
- Deep experience of pre-sale media planning to build media plans, understand strategy + story-tell through planning
- Deep understanding of the digital media landscape, digital activations and execution, experience with custom/branded content, social media, and audio.
- Lead pertinent client presentations (i.e. kick-off meetings, mid-campaign reports, and wrap reporting decks) and manage client/agency relationships.
- Self-starter who thrives in both independent and collaborative work with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand and interpret data to craft stories, make observations and draw conclusions. Utilize this performance data and insights to drive account strategy, upsell, drive incremental and renewal business. Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, Boostr, Podsights, Sailthru experience is a plus. 
- Strong problem solving skills and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Detail-oriented team player with outstanding organizational and communication skills to manage multiple projects and internal work relationships

NICE TO HAVES
- Experience working with multiple client categories
- Familiarity with Google Drive, Keynote, Sheets, and project management software like Monday.com
- Experience in audio + newsletters 

MANAGERIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Potential to manage 1x direct report.
-  Responsible for onboarding + training of that individual and managing continuous check-ins.
- Ability to prioritize workload + time management effectively. 
- Ability to provide direct feedback. 
- Ability to decipher when to be an individual contributor and when to be a manager. 
- Ability to support a direct report on their day to day work. 

COMPENSATION $95K-100K base *Final offers for this job will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided, commensurate with experience. Total offer package to include benefits highlighted under our perks section below.
