This role focuses on delivering top-tier analytics insights to support customer-centric business and marketing strategies. The position is hybrid, requiring three days in the office weekly at the Toronto location. Key responsibilities include analyzing complex datasets to identify trends and insights, collaborating with stakeholders on marketing strategies, developing data models, and reporting on loyalty and e-commerce performance. The role also involves mentoring junior analysts and contributing to the team's roadmap. Candidates should be able to translate business problems into data questions and possess strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis
  • Generate insights from complex data
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python/R
  • Expertise in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Strong statistical knowledge (A/B testing, regression)
  • Translate business problems to data questions
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Build relationships with stakeholders
  • Proactive in anticipating analytical solutions
  • Strategic thinker
Good to have:
  • Background in e-commerce
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics

What you will do:

This role will focus on delivering best-in-class analytics insights to support the development of customer-centric business and marketing strategies.

This is a hybrid position (3 days in-office weekly) based at our Toronto office located at 1303 Yonge St.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to inform overall strategy for marketing campaigns, defining measurement approach and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop and maintain data models and ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Own and report out on ongoing loyalty, business & e-commerce performance to leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and data team members & contributes to prioritization of team roadmap

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, etc.) or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar role in e-commerce, Marketing or Loyalty space
  • Ability to generate meaningful business and customer insights from large volumes of complex data.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python or R).
  • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
  • Strong statistical knowledge and experience applying A/B testing, regression, and other advanced methods.
  • Ability to translate business problems into data questions and insights.
  • Strong organizational, time management and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong ability to build + maintain relationships with stakeholders, with varying degrees of Analytics knowledge
  • Proactive in anticipating solutions to business problems that may require Analytics support, within assigned workstreams
  • Strategic thinker, with understanding of implications of Analytics within larger business & organizational business context
  • Background in e-commerce is an asset
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics is an asset
