Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HRIT Solution Analyst with a specialized skillset in Workday and ServiceNow to join our HRIT team. As a HRIT Solution Analyst, you will play a crucial role in designing HR technology solutions to improve the efficiency and user experience of end to end HR Business processes in addition to supporting the configuration, maintenance, and enhancements of our Workday and ServiceNow systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the HR business requirements and design innovative technology solutions.
- Design, configure and implement end to end HR technology solutions, identifying and closing gaps in processes and dependencies and transforming the technology landscape
- Partner with HR SMEs and HRIT team members to build and document workflows and procedures for our systems.
- Assess out of the box functionality against business requirements and determine best solutions to meet requirements
- Create and maintain clear, comprehensive, documented functional specifications for requested changes, enhancements, or projects; accountable for articulating functional processes from beginning to end and providing thought leadership on functionality and design
- Maintain awareness of Workday/ServiceNow future releases / roadmap and the potential impact of those plans on current and future functionality
- Responsible for the thorough testing and analysis of new Workday/ServiceNow features and functionality and participates in release planning, accountable for regression testing, unit testing, user acceptance testing and pre-launch testing / sign-off for new features or enhancements
- Assist in testing processes from creating test cases, setting up test cases, and testing different personas through the processes
- Have a continuous improvement mindset, monitor and recommend changes to improve processes, technology, and data quality.
- Uphold excellent time management skills including technical requirements gathering, integration documentation, testing plans, and cut-over plans from a technology perspective and lead stakeholders through these standards
- Use project management skills in managing projects. Provide overall project management for given HR system initiative.
- Use HR and technical knowledge to influence, consult, communicate and manage projects from design to successful implementation
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
- 5+ years of experience as Workday functional expert in multiple modules required
- Strongly prefer ServiceNow Portal and HRSD experience
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail; Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to learn quickly and work within tight deadlines; self-starter; must take personal initiative and willingly assume responsibility and ownership
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work in a high demand environment and manage ambiguous situations and/or directives
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and determine appropriate solutions
