Job Description

This role involves managing Outline Agreement (OA) contracts, including Ariba Quote processes, deactivation, and administration. Key responsibilities include handling contract price execution, performing candidate analysis, and collaborating with stakeholders for negotiation. The position also supports PACE/DASH Program Expansion, managing part onboarding, risk parts, supplier liability, and maintaining attribute accuracy to ensure supply chain continuity and material availability.

  • Minimum 5 years of Supply Chain experience on sourcing, purchasing, analytics, project/program management and supplier management
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel
  • Self-starter and able to operate independently of day-to-day supervision
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams

Applied Materials is the leader in materials engineering solutions used to produce virtually every new chip and advanced display in the world. The Contracting MPM is responsible for sourcing of Applied direct material numbers, setting up Outline Agreement with suppliers for long term business and cost reduction, and manage PACE/DASH purchasing program to ensure supply chain continuity and improve material availability.

Manage Outline Agreement(OA) Contract maintenance including Ariba Quote for contract process implementation, OA line deactivation, OA administration work, Manage Quota Dual Source request and etc. to serve Global Supply Chain spend on contract target and Advanced Purchasing program (PACE/DASH) expansion.

1.)Responsible for handling Contract price execution request through online tool requested by internal stakeholders.

2.)Able to utilize existing tools, data source to Perform candidate analysis, get alignment with requestors and key stakeholders.

3.)Follow Ariba quote for Contract process to publish quotation with suppliers, push for results, analyze quotation, do negotiation, gain SAM approval for awarded scenario and follow till outline agreement integrated in system.

4.) Collaboration with stakeholders and do needful negotiation with suppliers

5.)Handle OA line deactivation request through online tool, follow up and collaborate with requestor and SAM to meet cycle time requirements and maintain system changes.

6.)Handle Quota Dual Source request through online tool, maintain system changes, drive online platform enhancement and process optimization

Support PACE/DASH Program Expansion, including onboarding eligible parts to PACE/DASH program, taking risk parts off program, handling supplier liability claim and liability PO management, managing type switch like PACE consigned to non-consigned/DASH, maintaining attribute accuracy, adjusting PACE Min-Max level, DASH buffer stock level, implementing conversion, Inventory Pull and etc.

1.) Support PACE/DASH Program Expansion

  • Candidate Analysis, scrub, internal review with BU materials, SAM, Purchasing team
  • Amendment request creation, negotiation with supplier
  • Amendment signature, document upload in Ariba workspace

2.)PACE/DASH Removal, Resource, Transfer

  • Analysis of risk parts and initiate removal suggestion
  • Handle special removal/resource request
  • Identify PACE Resource opportunity, align and implement change
  • Manage Liability claim request

3.)PACE/DASH Attribute Monitor and Correction

4.)PACE Type switch: Global PACE – Plant PACE, PACE Consign – PACE non Consign, PACE- DASH; analysis, communication with materials and supplier, implementation change.

5.)PACE/DASH Conversion - including Attribute Setup and change, PO/PR disposition; SA Release

6.)Adjusting PACE Min-Max level, DASH buffer stock level, implementing conversion, Inventory Pull

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 5 years of Supply Chain experience on sourcing, purchasing, analytics, project/program management and supplier management.

Job Specific skills/Knowledge

(Mandatory)

1.) Have prior sourcing, purchasing, negotiation, dual sourcing, and supplier management experience .

2.)Proficient with MS Office. Excel is a must.
